Greeting the Public

Tonight I will be at:
Books & Co.
350 E. Stroop Rd.
Dayton, Ohio

WOWA (Western Ohio Writers Association) will be having our Holiday Beatnik Cafe.  I will be reading my holiday themed children's story "Magical Gifts".

There is a short reception from 6-7pm in the cafe Joe Muggs at the front of the store then the readings begin at 7pm.

Please join us and show your support for your local writers!  There are a lot of talented members in our group and several of them are on the schedule to read.   There will be plenty of laughter and fun for all ages.

  5. Oh I'm so glad it went well!! I still feel gross and while I'm pretty sure I'm not contagious after we finished with wrestling practice I just did not feel like driving all the way to Kettering for what would have probably only been 20 minutes or so. Congratulations and great job to all the readers and I'll see you all at next month's meeting!

  6. Stacy - You did great in the lead-off spot. Got everything flowing in the right direction for the rest of us.

Kim - Your story was perfect for this setting.

Matt - Why aren't you following my blog, too?

MB - Sorry you're under the weather. See you in January.

  7. MB - I hope you feel better soon!! Can't wait to see you in January and hear what you have been working on.

Linda thank you. I love the story you shared to. Gery's comment about it cracked me up. "You sure know how to lift us up, to drop kick us...." IT was a very touching story.
The audience connected well to it.

  9. That is hilarious - thank you nitebyrd. I think my nine year old who is dying to wear makeup and loves Unicorns wouldn't quite know how to react to that. It would be perfect to get a funny reaction from her! THANK YOU!
